Filey & Bridlington - Herring Gulls
Carrying on my theme of always carrying my camera with me, the rest of the weekend in Yorkshire provided further opportunities for photography, albeit grab shots here and there. We stayed in a caravan on the cliff tops near Filey, where Herring Gulls were constantly flying past. On the way home we also visited Bridlington Harbour, for fish and chips - again a great draw for Herring Gulls. Whilst they are not the rarest or most exciting of birds, they can make agood subject for photos!
First, two flight shots from outside the caravan at Filey.
And a couple of close up head shots from Bridlington harbour.
And finally, one particular gull had an eye on our chips (he went away hungry!)
